About two weeks ago, Fui and I had lunch at the MOMA's Michelin star restaurant, The Modern, with a few of our friends who were visiting from home. I thought the food was alright but the setting was great- the restaurant was bright despite the cloudy day due to the large windows and there was a power-lunch hour feel to the restaurant.
I could tell that the food was of high quality but I'm really easygoing when it comes to food so I'll just let the pictures do the talking. I do remember that they gave us complementary butternut squash panna cotta before lunch and petit fours after lunch. For our mains, a couple of us had the monkfish while the rest had roast chicken and for dessert were a type of mango brioche pudding and an extremely delectable hazelnut gateau.Fui wore an asymmetrical cutout top from preen with a uniqlo thermal tee underneath
I wore a generra gold sequin jacket bought two years ago from Tokio7, my trusty striped zara tunic and american apparel leggings.
love the outfits! I've been to that restaurant , it's a nice atmosphere
ReplyDeleteLove the gold jacket.
