Love or Hate Her- Kim Min-Hee
I thought I would look closer to home for fashion inspirations. I first found out about Kim Min-Hee from my really good Korean friend at NYU. One of Korea's style icons, she is an actress and model. Always seen completely comfortable in her own skin, her style is effortless and fun but womanly.

Her unruly crimped hair reminds me of Erin Wasson, and she often spots minimal or no make-up at all. She either surprises with her unexpected choices or works an outfit with her fierce yet feminie attitude.
Her younger boyfriend is Lee Soo Hyuk, South Korea's most androgynous model, and the two of them are very well-known in the fashion circuit. Their unique and fresh styles have set them firmly as South Korea's two trendsetters, and one of the most stylish couples in the country. Dazed & Confused Korea did a feature on them and titled the spread 'Doppelganger'. Click here for the full spread which is really interesting and have some pretty amazing shots. -fui

When casual happens to good people- Sienna Miller
The Brits have casual style down pat, from Kate Moss to Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung to Agyness Dean, they all demonstrate that comfortable is not synonymous with sloppy. Case in point: Sienna Miller. Much critiqued five years ago for sharing Kate Moss' thrown-together bohemian style a little too closely, Sienna Miller has emerged from her compartriot's limelight to cement her status as a style icon of the younger generation with a style aesthetic that is daring, effortless and fresh, all at once.
For the daytime, Sienna favours tee-shirts and sweaters that can be easily layered on. She then amps up her style quotient by accessorizing either with some fantastic studded boots(Chloe and Isabel Marant are favourites) or slinging on an ostrich-skin YSL Rive Gauche bag over her shoulder. On cooler London days, she throws on a slochy beret and a sharp tuxedo jacket to keep warm or wears a hooded red cape, adding a taste of childhood nostalgia to her daily life.
She pushes the sartorial boundaries even more once darkness falls, pairing a jumpsuit with a fedora one night and slipping on a salmon pink strapless floor-length chiffon dress worn with her hair undone on another night, reminiscent of the free-spirited style she was once known for. More recently, her night-time looks have switched oscillated from a sequinned green scoop-back mini-dress with '80s shoulder pads at the MTV Movie Awards, where she was a close runner-up to Leighton Meester for our best-dressed of the night, to a demure red shift dress worn with opaque black tights and red lips. Always unpredictable, she keeps us guessing on what her next move would be.-Hairin

In Love With.... Margherita Missoni

Part of the ultra-privileged European jet-set partly comprising of the daughter of Paris Vogue's editor-in-chief, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, the Greek shipping heiress, Eugenina Niarchos, Monaco's princess Charlotte Casiraghi among others who are equally advantaged, Margherita Missoni has lived in Milan, Florence and New York. Currently living in Paris, her style reflects both her Missoni heritage as well as her nomadic lifestyle.

Being the ambassador of her family's brand, she wears Missoni with ease and pride. The vibrant, printed pieces Missoni is known for often accompanies her to public events although she is also avid fans of Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler and Calvin Klein. What we love about her is her unpredictability when it comes to dressing. A fun bright purple tiered minidress one night is followed by a more conservative knee-length plaid dress the next, complete with bows in her hair.

Unlike her other wealthy peers which nowadays look like walking advertisements for Balmain, Margherita earns her sartorial credentials by keeping true to her family background and her luxe-bohemain sensibility, all the while highlighting her best assets; her sparkling brown eyes, shiny chesnut hair and winning smile.-Hairin

Glam Slam- Georgina Chapman

(all photos from thefashionspot)
In a time when it's considered de rigor to be undone, Georgina Chapman is like a breath of fresh air. The antithesis of Alexander Wang's and Erin Wasson's too-cool-for-school aesthetic which seems to have infected the entire of Manhattan's fashion set, she brings effortless glamour to the New York social scene.
No one is a better ambassador to Marchesa label than she is. Almost exclusively photographed in Marchesa, she wears the feathers and embellishment that has been synonymous with the brand with ease. To high-octane events she wears couture-like ensembles like those that she outfits her star clientele in. One of my favourite looks was the dress she wore to the MET gala a year ago that seemed to have been dipped in liquid gold.
More oftenly though she pairs short cocktail dresses, embellished in a gamut of ways, with her beloved sky-high Louboutins. While this lady obviously takes immense pleasure in the art of appearance, her outfits are by no means constrained to the fantastical dresses she creates with Keren Craig. For more casual events she demonstrates her ability to blend in with the downtown crowd by wearing in silk pants dripped in beading paired with a basic black tank. What sets her apart from them however is her poise as she puts on even the simplest of clothing with the same grace as when she wears the many dreamy creations from her own label.-Hairin
