Hairin's birthday dinner was held at Spruce located in Tanglin Road's Phoenix Park. Structurally similar to Dempsey's House, the chill-out, laid-back vibe makes for an unpretentious and relaxing place for people to gather. There was great food, great music, and great company, so no complaints on my part. Except maybe for their sticky date pudding which was slightly disappointing. I guess the best we've had still goes to Marmalade Pantry. -fui
