When casual happens to good people- Sienna Miller

The Brits have casual style down pat, from Kate Moss to Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung to Agyness Dean, they all demonstrate that comfortable is not synonymous with sloppy. Case in point: Sienna Miller. Much critiqued five years ago for sharing Kate Moss' thrown-together bohemian style a little too closely, Sienna Miller has emerged from her compartriot's limelight to cement her status as a style icon of the younger generation with a style aesthetic that is daring, effortless and fresh, all at once.

For the daytime, Sienna favours tee-shirts and sweaters that can be easily layered on. She then amps up her style quotient by accessorizing either with some fantastic studded boots(Chloe and Isabel Marant are favourites) or slinging on an ostrich-skin YSL Rive Gauche bag over her shoulder. On cooler London days, she throws on a slochy beret and a sharp tuxedo jacket to keep warm or wears a hooded red cape, adding a taste of childhood nostalgia to her daily life.

She pushes the sartorial boundaries even more once darkness falls, pairing a jumpsuit with a fedora one night and slipping on a salmon pink strapless floor-length chiffon dress worn with her hair undone on another night, reminiscent of the free-spirited style she was once known for. More recently, her night-time looks have switched oscillated from a sequinned green scoop-back mini-dress with '80s shoulder pads at the MTV Movie Awards, where she was a close runner-up to Leighton Meester for our best-dressed of the night, to a demure red shift dress worn with opaque black tights and red lips. Always unpredictable, she keeps us guessing on what her next move would be.-Hairin
